This is perfect for the absolute beginner. You'll learn all about your materials, how to mix colors, ratio of water to paint and how to get started and then keep on going!

Art takes courage!

For years working as a graphic designer I would spend my weekends cruising the aisles of art stores and buying supplies. I finally realized that I was trying to reach my creative self but hadn't taken the plunge into creating an actual art practice. Many people meeting me now, would never guess this.

Now with over 16 years of professional teaching experience, I understand that art making can be scary and I am here to support you. Here is a place to learn, experiment and play. There is no "right" answer or a "right" way of doing things. I will share a variety of techniques and you get to choose what works for you!

Thank you so much for a fun class and for opening the door to easing up inside around the process of creating art. My favorite thing was being given permission to be open to exploration without judgment or restraint. It helped me to relax around it and not feel like I have to love or show every piece; it helped me make more peace with process.
